TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please find below some useful information to read before your arrival.
Cheese & Wine, Cheese & Wine Suites/Apartments are registered brands of Home Delight, Unipessoal Lda. Every mention on this terms of conditions to any of these brands refers always to the Company Home Delight, Unipessoal Lda, which is responsible for this document. Therefore when you read Cheese & Wine Suites or Apartments on this document it always refers to Home Delight, Unipessoal Lda.
ARRIVAL AND CHECK-IN
Our check-in time starts at 3 pm and check-out is done until 11 am.
After filling the check-in form and if you choose the Self check-in option at the apartment, you should receive a code to access the apartment and the building (the code is the same). The code will be sent to you within 72h after filling the check-in form.
If you choose the check-in at the Welcome Center, you can provide all data regarding the Guests Passports and IDs at the Welcome Center Reception
Early arrivals (before 15:00h): You can come to our Welcome Center (located at Calçada Marquês Abrantes 40) to store your luggage at no extra cost. Alternatively you can call us from the Lisbon airport to check whether it would be possible to go directly to the apartment and make and early check-in (sometimes the apartment is free and ready so you can go directly to the apartment before check-in time).
On the self check-in form, the person that makes the reservation is responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of all the information provided, especially the information regarding the Passport and IDs information of all the guests.
DEPARTURE AND CHECK-OUT
Check-out time is done until 11:00am. Please leave the keys inside the apartment where you found them at your arrival and close the door (except for SÉ1 apartment).
Guests that fail to leave before 11:00 am will be charged for an additional full day’s accommodation fee. If the guest refuses to leave, Cheese & Wine reserves the right to enter the accommodation, remove their belongings, change the locks, and also to take further action as may be necessary. (The guest will be charged for the costs of any such action.)
During your stay at Cheese & Wine , we want you to feel like home. However, in case you come across anything wrong or not functioning/working, we kindly ask to report it to us immediately so we can solve the problem as soon as possible.
Guests do not have to clean the apartment at check-out. Cheese & Wine requires guests to leave the apartment neat and tidy and to take out the rubbish so that we can better welcome the next guest promptly.
In case you forgot to leave your keys on check-out, we kindly ask you to send them directly to our headquarters (Rua Cecílio de Sousa, 16, 2º andar, 1200-101 Lisboa) within 48 hours. In case we do not receive them within 72 hours, a cost of 30€ will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on the reservation process.
DAMAGES/MISSING ITEMS/EXTRA EXPENSES
In case of damages found or missing items in your room or apartment or common areas during your stay, the replacement or repair costs will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on the reservation process.
Guests must notify Cheese & Wine of any damage to the accommodation, contents, fixtures, or fittings which occur during the stay, even if the guest considers the damage to be regular wear and tear and even if the guest does not believe the damage is his or her fault. If the guest does not notify Cheese & Wine of any such damage, the guest will be liable for such damage up to the cost of a full replacement.
Any deductions for property damage will be charged to the credit or debit card the guest has supplied. The guest hereby authorizes Cheese & Wine to charge such fees to the credit or debit card supplied when making the reservation.
If you forgot to mention on check-out extra expenses done during your stay, they will be charged to you on the credit card details provided on the reservation process.
We are not responsible for the loss, damage or theft of money, jewelry or other valuable items left in the rooms or in the apartments.
LOST AND FOUND
In case you forgot some personal belongings at the Suites or in one of our apartments, they will be kept during 30 days after your check-out date. If you ask, we will be glad to send them to you to the address you should provide us with all shipping costs at your charge.
Smoking is not allowed in any area of the accommodation units of Cheese & Wine. A fine of up to € 750 may be applied to guests who violate this policy, in accordance with the legislation (Law no. 109/2015, of August 26th) and an extra cleaning of 75€ will be charged immediately.
We kindly ask you to respect the other guests and keep noise to a minimum between 9 pm and 10 am.
We remind you that pets are not allowed at Cheese & Wine Suites and Apartments. If this rule is not followed, we are obliged to charge you 250€ on the credit cart provided on the reservation process.
Lisbon City Tax: please note that from the 1st of January 2016 a city tax of EUR 1 per person, per night is not included in the total price. This tax is charged to guests aged 13 and older. It is subject to a maximum amount of EUR 7 per guest.
Prepayment of the all stay is required. Payment is made any time after the reservation.
You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival in this case the full amount already charged will be refunded. This process may take between 5-10 working days, depending on your bank. You will be charged the full amount of the stay in case of cancellation or no show less than 7 days before de check-in.
NON REFUNDABLE RATE
Prepayment is required. Will be charged the full reservation anytime after the reservation. This is a non-refundable and non modifiable booking, and cannot be canceled or modified even in case of no-show.
Other expenses that may occur during your stay can be paid in cash or by credit card (VISA or MasterCard).
In case of cancellation, there is no refund.
The apartment will be cleaned before guests arrive.
The cleaning service includes one set of towels, bed linens and hand/shower soap for each reservation. Additional cleaning services and products, including a change of sheets and towels, are available by request for an additional fee.
COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Home Delight, Unipessoal Lda, operating under the Cheese & Wine brand, has collected the following data from you:
Name, Email, Telephone, Mobile phone, Credit Card details
This data has been collected because you are our client and you made a reservation with us. This data is crucial to handle your reservation and to process the payment of your stay. Also we use this data to send you touristic information and information about our company, services and promotional campaigns. You can always at any time correct, remove or block incorrect data about yourself, by sending us an email to : email@example.com, stating the data you want all or partial data to be removed, corrected or blocked.
Your data is protected against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration and disclosure. If sensitive personal information is stolen, lost or illegally accessed – known as a ‘personal data breach’– we will report it to the national data protection authority.
Regarding your credit card details, they are kept from the moment you provided them until one month after your check-out date, for possible disputes that we have to handle during that period.
Regarding the Passport/ID information, all the data is collected on behalf of the SEF Authority (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras) and is send and kept according to Portuguese law.
